Take Action

We Must Act Now

Urgent action is needed to prevent the deportation of Michigan immigrant Florencio Cachu.

UPDATE: Due to strong pressure from the community and the media, ICE has given Florencio a temporary extension. But we still need to keep the pressure up to make sure that they end his deportation for good.

His children have been diagnosed with chronic illnesses, and they desperately need their father. Adrian, age 10, was born with a hole in his heart, and Lizbeth, age 7, has Type 2 diabetes. Both are US citizens.

The stakes are high. Deporting Florencio would not only break up this family, but it would endanger the lives of his children. Florencio is Adrian and Lizbeth’s sole provider, and the medical attention these children require would be unavailable in Mexico.

Florencio has been a hard-working, model immigrant who pays his taxes and is learning English.

He could be deported as soon as Monday— please keep this family together and take action today!
