Tell President Obama: Stop Deporting DREAMers!

Both Congress and the President have a responsibility to fix our broken immigration: Congress needs to change the law and the President needs to change the way the law is administered.

We’ll continue pushing Congress to act, but right now we’ve got to join the 22 Senate Democrats who have called on President Obama to use his executive authority to stop the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) from arresting and deporting talented DREAMers to countries they may not even remember.

In so many ways, DHS is out of control and the President can and must rein them in.

Sign our petition asking President Obama to stop the deportation of DREAMers.

President Obama,

You have said many times that it makes no sense to deport “talented, responsible young people who can staff our research labs, start new businesses, and further enrich this nation.”

Still, these young people face the threat of deportation.

They dream of joining our military, getting an education, staffing our research labs, starting new businesses, and enriching our nation. As you know, they grew up as Americans and played no part in their parents’ decision to come here.

We agree with you that arresting, jailing and deporting these young people makes no sense. We ask you to direct your administration to stop it.

Signed,
