Immigration bullies, like Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL), have been trying to block jobs for out-of-work Americans by adding all kinds of unrelated immigration amendments to the jobs proposals that Congress is voting on as we speak.

These amendments, like expanding the flawed federal E-Verify database, will not solve the problem of illegal immigration or create new jobs. They will create more bureaucratic red tape, slow job creation, and put millions of workers — including U.S. citizens — at risk of losing their jobs!

This is outrageous. Millions of Americans are out of work. Our immigration system is dysfunctional. Instead of playing politics with our country’s future, we need our leaders to get to work to solve the jobs crisis and enact real, comprehensive immigration reform.
